Dads of Destiny I

Foundations in Fathering is a Dads of Destiny curriculum developed by the National Center for Fathering that utilizes the Gospel of John to equip each man in building his home on the Rock. In talking a lot about Dad throughout the gospel, Jesus provides the dimensions of fathering as practiced by the Father. They are Involvement, Consistency, Awareness and Nurturing. Each session will start with a 30-minute presentation on the week's topic, followed by a 30 - 45 minute small group discussion. This study is designed to transform men, good dads, through scriptural guidance and practical application, into the dads the He has called each man to be, the fathers our children need. Just as the world's definition of manhood is not typically in line with the Biblical definition, it is also true that the world's definition of fatherhood is not in line with His definition. Men completing this six week study have commented that it has equipped them well to grow as a father and with the Father.
