Being There: father/child(8-12) & father/teen(13-15) adventure weekends

The focus of this weekend retreat is to encourage and equip men in their role as a father. Through teaching that uses scriptural examples and practical applications, dads learn that the impact a father has on his children is significant and is indeed his legacy. Through breakout discussions with other dads, men gain insight and realize they are not alone. And, through one-on-one discussions and physical activities with their children, each dad will gain a new perspective on their walk as a father and with the Father. The kids will be participating in age-appropriate parallel discussions with camp staff. In closing Sunday, each dad will have an opportunity to formally affirm and bless his child. Over the course of a fun filled weekend, each dad will:
1. Understand the impact a father has on his children through his physical, emotional and spiritual presence;
2. Enjoy one-on-one time with his child in focused discussion and physical activity; and
3. Equip his child with the power of a father's blessing.

Adventures for Life: a father/son passage experience

Adventures for Life is a partnership between Camp Cho-Yeh and Christ in the Tetons. Camp Cho-Yeh provides a local venue for the father/son passage experience that CITT has provided for several years.  Designed for sons 14 to 40, the presentation is built upon the scripturally based curriculum from Robert Lewis' book 'Raising a Modern Day Knight'. Through a balance of physical activity, small group breakout discussions and one-on-one time for fathers and sons, men are met where they are on the journey called manhood.  Each father and son will be stretched physically, mentally and spiritually to the point of enabling a new depth of relationship. In closing Sunday, dads will have an opportunity to knight their sons into the 'Circle of Manhood'.  Over the course of a long weekend, each dad will:
1. Have a lot of fun;
2. Enjoy one-on-one time with his son and open doors to real relationship; and
3. Equip his son to become a godly man.
