Faithful Fathering - Going the Distance
Going the Distance is a Dads of Destiny curriculum developed by the National Center for Fathering that utilizes a good balance of scripture and practical tips that will help each man grow in his walk as a father and with the Father. Study sessions include discussions on teamwork in parenting, building a support team of other men and spiritual equipping within the family. Each session will start with a 30-minute presentation on the week’s topic, followed by a 30 – 45 minute small group discussion. This study is designed to transform men, good dads, into fathers that are committed to the purpose for which the Lord has set us apart – to raise a generation that will love and trust our Father.

Being There - father/daughter adventure weekend
For dads and daughters (ages 11-17) the focus of this weekend retreat is to have fun at Camp Cho-Yeh! In the process dads will be encouraged and equipped in their role as a father. Short classroom sessions will be followed by breakout discussions with other dads, while the young ladies participate in age-appropriate parallel discussions with camp staff. Over the course of a fun filled weekend, each dad will: 1.Gain understanding of the impact a father has on his daughter through his physical, emotional and spiritual presence; 2.Enjoy one-on-one time with his daughter through focused discussion and coordinated activities – low/high ropes, mountain biking, etc.; and, 3.Equip his daughter with the power of a father's blessing.
